Mid century Mcintosh dining chairs. Stylish set of four teak dining chairs, with elegant tapering legs, and a gently curved back. Upholstered by previous owners in a purple velvet fabric. Made in the 1960s and mixing Scandinavian design influence with more traditional British style sensibilities. McIntosh furniture is synonymous with superior craftsmanship and you can see that here in these elegant chairs. The velvet seats l am unsure when reupholstered so do know if they comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989, 1993 and 2010) so would need to be changed.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The teak frames do show signs of wear with marks and scratches as to be expected. Some white sport marks on some of the chairs but should be easy to remove. The velvet seats are in good condition but l am unsure when reupholstered so do know if they comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989, 1993 and 2010) so would need to be changed.
