Vintage AH McIntosh of Kirkcaldy dining chairs. Made in the 1960s and mixing Scandinavian design influence with more traditional British style sensibilities. McIntosh furniture is synonymous with superior craftsmanship and you can see that here in these elegant chairs. That curve on the back legs is just wonderful. The fabric seats do not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989, 1993 and 2010)
Condition: All the chairs apart from one are in very good vintage condition. One chair has a crack on the left top leg (could be glued) and a chip on the back rest. The teak frames are all sturdy with marks and scratches commensurate with age but nothing significant. The fabric seats are all in very good condition with no tears. The fabric seats though do not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989, 1993 and 2010.
