Vintage 1950’s G Plan Butterfly Chairs By E Gomme x 2

Vintage G Plan butterfly chairs. Lovely pair of original 1950’s G Plan dining chairs by E Gomme. From one of the pioneers of mid century British furniture, the butterfly chairs are both stylish and practical. The chair seats have been reupholstered in a light pink. Unsure when this was done and whether they comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989, 1993 and 2010). Backrest are made of teak veneer and the frames in beech.

Condition: Good sturdy condition. The frames the paint has been come off in places (see photos). Could easily re paint if wanted to. The teak backrests are marks and scratches commensurate with age.
