Vintage 1960’s G Plan Fresco chairs. These are a fabulous set of five original dining chairs in teak with cotton seat bases and backs in a brown colour. These chairs were designed by Victor Wilkins. The legs are beautifully tapered and the backs are gently curved. The cotton seats and back do not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989, 1993 and 2010) so would need to be replaced. The seat cushions have also gone flat.
Condition: The teak frames are in good condition. There are marks and scratches commensurate with age and some colour variation. They are also sturdy apart from one which could do with glue repair. The cotton seats and back do not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989, 1993 and 2010) so would need to be replaced. The seat cushions and backs have also gone flat.
