Mid century Ercol coffee table. Thjs is the model 459. Produced in England circa 1960s. Crafted in solid elm and beech with a slatted lower tier, it features Ercol’s characteristic fluid lines and splayed legs. The top displays a distinctive grain pattern with rounded edges and softly curved corners. Practical as well as decorative, the slatted shelf offers additional storage or display space. A classic piece from one of Britain’s leading post war furniture makers.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Darker colour variation on the top surface which is due to heat damage. Small dent in the top surface also. Marks and scratches commensurate with age.
