Mid century tallboy chest of drawers by Meredew. Circa 1960s. Stylish mid century set of drawers finished in a oak veneer. Six large drawers each opening with a pair of turned solid oak handles. The unit sits on a frame to the base with wonderful solid wood tapered legs. A truly timeless piece of furniture which will not look out of place in any vintage or modern home.
Condition: There are a number of issues with this chest of drawers. Most obvious is the bottom drawer handle is broken. There is veneer chips to the edges of the two bottom drawers and the third drawer down on the bottom left. Also on the top surface on the back right with some fading. Other marks and scratches commensurate with age.
